Details:
This one-day workshop will explain watercolor basics to the true novice. Details include terminology, brush
features, paper types, paint specifics and more. Small class size includes 30 minute break. Bring a bag lunch.
Required Materials for the Class:
Sketch pad 9X12
Watercolor paper, 140 pound cold press
Soft watercolor brushes One each: small round, medium round
Paints, artist/professional quality
Pyroll Scarlet or Vermillion (red)
Hansa Yellow
French Ultramarine Blue
Permanent Alizarin Crimson
Yellow Ochre
Burnt Sienna
Palette designed with 8-16 nonabsorbent wells for holding paint and flat areas for mixing colors
