    Exercise is a key component for improving balance and strength. Tai Chi is perfect as it incorporates slow mindful movements. This class begins with a sequence of Wi Gong movements that exercise each joint in the body. Participants will also learn basic postures taken from the Yang style of Tai Chi that will improve balance, coordination and flexibility. No prior Tai Chi experience needed and no long sequences to remember.

    Falling can pose a serious risk of injury and the fear of falling can increase our chances of a fall. Learn the right way to fall and create a "fall action plan". Practice and acquire techniques to help minimize the impact, prevent severe injury and reduce the fear. Participants should wear comfortable clothing and be prepared to squat, roll onto mats and move on the floor. This class will be adventurous and practical.
