    This class builds on the Tai Chi movements learned in the Basic Tai Chi class and adds more challenging postures. Students will learn 28 movements of Tai Chi plus the classic Qi Gong practice of Eight Pieces of Brocade. Participants should be proficient in the Basic Tai Chi class and/or have prior experience in Yang Style Tai Chi.

    Hikers and avid walkers, extend your life on the trails! Use Walking Poles to increase your stamina and continued joy in walking. In this two-session workshop you will learn the benefits of walking with poles, what to look for when buying poles, pole features, length adjustments and walking techniques to enhance uprightness, flexibility and power. The class will walk from the Senior Center to Central Park (1 mile round trip). At the park, we will refine techniques for uphill and down. Poles will be available during class for those who donít have them.
