    730400 - Japanese Taiko Drumming

    Introduction to Taiko: This is an energetic class that introduces you to the fundamentals of playing Taiko including the basic skill, form, movement and rhythm patterns. In addition, you will explore the rich history and traditions of this ancient Japanese art form. A $20 material for drumsticks (bachi) and earplugs are due on the first day of class.

    Level II Taiko: Level II is a continuation of the Introduction class. Students will learn new techniques, forms and songs.

    Intermediate Taiko: This class will review the basics of Taiko and progress to more challenging concepts. Open to students with instructor consent.
